Marginal Way Skatepark Pour August 2014

Marginal Way Skatepark is almost complete (till we poach the trucker lot across the street too).

This pour is special to me. I’ve been shredding this park since its beginnings in 2004. When I skated 365 days in a row (2011-2012), Marginal Way Skatepark was easily my most visited, with 105 sessions there that year. I’ve met so many friends there, and have had so many kill sessions. I’ve especially been waiting for this section to be complete. I saved up money I’d usually spend on smokes, weed, and alcohol, and made a donation that covered a large portion of the crete for this pour. I wanted to give something back to a place that has been a large part of my life and sanity.

The park is amazing. Built completely by local skaters volunteering their time. Thanks dudes. You rip (except for some manic asshole, who dropped in on it wet).
